Child Emergency First Aid Workshop

It is every parent’s worst nightmare having to deal with an emergency with their own child. My 2-hour workshops are designed to give you the skill set to be confident in any first aid situation. 

Our Parent and Child workshop focuses on first aid injuries and illnesses common in children over the age of one and adults. Please see Baby Emergency First Aid and Basic Life Support workshops for younger children and adults.

The workshop covers the following:
 
  • CPR
  • Recovery 
  • Choking and Small Objects
  • Febrile Convulsion 
  • Seizures
  • Common Illnesses and Injury in Children
  • First Aid Kits

Assessment and Qualifications:

Continuous observation with practical and theoretical assessments throughout. You’ll receive a certificate of participation upon completion. 

Cost: £25 Per Person 

Or £225 for up to 12 people

Delegate Numbers:

There is a maximum of 12 delegates per course.

Duration: 2 hours  

Apparatus used:

We use Laerdal Anne dolls – adult, child and baby, AEDs, bandages, Auto Injectors, slings, face sheilds, First Aid kits, plasters, tweezers, choking vests, gloves, manikin wipes, blankets, floor mats, ice packs.

Infection control:

We have put in place extensive measures to ensure that our clients will be safe during our training and that together we stop the spread.

COVID-19 MEASURES

Refresher:

It is recommended to refresh the training once a year. 

Breaks:

You will have one 15-minute break during this session.
